View adapters →A Robotow's drive drum grips the nose tire directly, so the adapter must match your aircraft's nose-gear geometry precisely. Some airframes use a universal adapter that pairs with the 28VL or 24SL kit (Cessna 150/172/182/206, most Piper Cherokees, Beech Bonanzas). Others — Cirrus, Mooney, Lancair, Glasair, Airglas floats, Navion, Sundowner, Commander — use a dedicated 28VL kit that ships with the manufacturer-specific adapter already fitted.
Warbirds like the T-28 Trojan and specialty airframes like the Cirrus Vision SF50 use one-off adapters. If your aircraft isn't listed, call 419-331-0371 — send photos and nose-gear dimensions and the shop can quote a custom build.
